Coming back to our roots

When we re-harness the power of storytelling, we not only reconnect to our ancestral heritage, and the wisdom held within, but also rediscover our pre-colonial standpoints in the world as stewards of Earth and all of their inhabitants, and that’s where true change begins.

Hi, I am Agrita Dandriyal and thanks for joining me on the Mind Full of Everything podcast, which calls for revolutionary healing of self and community in order to outgrow our broken culture of radical individualism and disconnection from community, to collectively re-envision a safer, healthier and equitable world.

Back in 2019, I made the decision to unravel my ever-expanding mind, full of entangled questions, thoughts and knowledge, through the creation of this podcast. I hoped that I will not only resolve the "information-overload crisis" I was experiencing as a highly-conscious 19 year-old, but also create a space for reflectance over issues prevalent globally and internally, a safe space where we all can celebrate the wonders of living and open up about our deepest thoughts, without any barriers or filters.

Whilst I specialise in environmentalism, having graduated with a MSc in Environment, Politics and Society and a BSc in Environmental Science, I soon realised that for a safe, just and healthy world, we need to go beyond the conventional environmental lens to sustaining our complex ecological (& social) structures, in order to rebuild a culture of relationality, inclusivity and equity into western/urban places. This is why Mind Full of Everything takes a healing-centric approach to explore the ways in which we can tend to the wounds, disconnections and ruptures in humanity, and our relationship to the more-than-human world, as we experience revolutionary changes within cultures, places, minds, bodies and being.

Join me on this journey of healing, unlearning, reconnecting and reimagining, as each month we explore an area of ourselves and our spaces to help us re-envision a more equitable world, through the most powerful tool of revolutionary change: storytelling.

Agrita Dandriyal is a storyteller, environmental justice advocate and dreamer for radical shifts in our belief systems of community and what it means to be in harmony with each other, the land and the Universe. Guided by deep nostalgia, an awakening gifted by the ancestors and cared for by the force of intuition, Agrita works to challenge systemically enforced oppressive mindsets and social norms within herself and her community by connecting back to our non-modern standpoints as stewards and storytellers of the land. She began her own podcast Mind Full of Everything to hold space for conversations which revolve around decolonial, non-linear, somatic and spiritual healing practices that work to challenge systemic suppression of creative expression in community and our individual selves.
